TPC CALENDAR AND EVENTS
SUN: Small Group Bible Study on the Gospel of John led by John Gilbert, 9:30am – 10:30m.

ROOM AT THE INN
We want to thank ALL of our volunteers who helped in December with our Room at the Inn. It was a GREAT night! Our next night hosting our homeless guests this season will be on Wednesday, January 21st. If you would like to help (1) set up the church, (2) serve food, (3) provide transportation too or from our facility to Area Relief Ministry, or (4) spend the night with our guests – please contact Jacki Shuttleworth at 731-225-8106.

THE SHARING ROOM
Promise Church sponsors a ministry that allows us to meet the food and basic supply needs of people in our community who are experiencing financial hardship. We call it “The Sharing Room.” We ask our church family to purchase a couple of extra canned or boxed food items or extra toothpaste, toothbrushes or other toiletries each time they make a trip to the supermarket. A basket is located in our entry hallway for these extra items to be dropped off and stocked in our Sharing Room! (in the back of the church) This way we are able to answer the call of people who need a little extra support to get through the month.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
At Promise Church we LOVE our children! Children (from birth to 5th Grade) are welcome to remain in worship until our Meet and Greet time at which time they will be invited to go to our Children’s Worship Area with one of our Ministry Leaders. Our Children’s Worship Area is located in Suite “K” of the Galleria Plaza just two doors down to the right. (Next to State Farm) In Children’s Worship time – the children are taught stories from the Bible, have an opportunity to worship, and also do arts and crafts which help them remember what they’ve learned that day!

AGAPE LUNCHEON
One Sunday each month, Promise Church hosts what we call our “Agape Fellowship Lunch!” Agape is the Greek word used to describe the kind of love Jesus had for his followers and the kind of love Jesus-followers have for the world. In the early church, believers not only met for worship but they met for the “Agape Feast” – an opportunity to share a meal together and encourage each other with prayer and presence! Our Agape Luncheon is scheduled for Sunday, January 11th immediately following worship! It’s a great time to relax, eat, and enjoy being with your friends at Promise Church! Everyone is welcome!
